Often referred to as top soil, it is ideal for establishing lawns, planting beds, trees, and general landscaping. Its loose, workable texture makes it easy to spread and grade, while promoting strong root development and healthy plant growth.

Pair Sandy Loam with Sod and Soil Amendments

Sandy loam is a smart base layer for new lawns and planting areas. Use it before installing Bermuda sod or Zoysia sod, and blend in compost when beds or turf areas need additional organic matter and moisture retention.
